Carbon Reduction Plan
Commitment to Achieving Net Zero
MoreLife UK is committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2040, contributing fully to the UK’s wider 2050 Net Zero goal. Our commitment includes reducing emissions across our highest‑impact areas – travel, energy use, and procurement – while integrating sustainability into the everyday culture of our service delivery. We are also focused on enhancing biodiversity through community and client engagement and embedding a Reduce → Reuse → Recycle → Offset approach throughout our operations. This commitment underpins our long‑term strategy and reflects our ambition to deliver services that support both population health and environmental wellbeing.

Emissions Reduction Targets
In order to continue progress toward Net Zero, Morelife has adopted the following carbon reduction targets:
We project that carbon emissions will decrease to 600–700 tCO₂e by 2028–2030, representing a 30–40% reduction from the 2024/25 baseline of 1,000 tCO₂e.
Carbon Reduction Projects
The following environmental measures and projects have been completed or implemented since the 2024/25 baseline and will remain in effect during contract delivery:
- Shift to digital-first delivery (significant reduction in in-person travel).
- Increased virtual non-clinical client contact (40% delivered virtually).
- Active travel incentives and cycle-to-work
- LED lighting, thermostatic controls, motion sensors in office
- Enhanced recycling and waste segregation
Future Carbon Reduction Initiatives
Morelife intends to implement the following measures:
- Transition to 100% renewable electricity across all
- Increase virtual contact delivery to at least 60%.
- Gradual electrification of the fleet and reduced reliance on petrol/diesel
- Elimination of unnecessary single-use
- Expanded nature-based client activities (+25%).
- Full adoption of sustainable procurement requirements across all
