Manchester – Junior Physical Activity Referral Service

At MoreLife we offer a 10-week Junior Physical Activity Referral Service (PARS). This service is commissioned by Manchester City Council and supports children and young people aged 5–17-years-old who are above a healthy weight (above 91st centile).

Our healthy lifestyle practitioners will connect your child to fun and interactive activities that you might not be aware of. This might include Football with City in the Community, dancing your heart out at The Manchester Youth Zone or searching for horcruxes in your local park with Harry, Ron and Hermione.

All the activities are affordable and often located within your local neighbourhood.

Fun for the Whole Family

There are many aspects of the programme that can be enjoyed as a family, including our digital health and wellbeing sessions; here you will learn about how to eat healthier, make healthier choices, choose healthier snacks and improve the quality of your sleep

We encourage all parents to take part where they can, this can make it easier for children to get involved and that being more active and eating healthier is not as difficult as they may think. It is fun for all the family after all!
