Our in-school programme is designed to support the delivery of the PSHE core themes of study; health and wellbeing. We work with schools to provide a flexible programme guided by the Healthy Schools Rating Scheme (HSRS) results or equivalent which could include:
- MoreLife Schools Healthy Assembly
- ‘Let’s Agree on Health’ Workshop or Assembly
- In-school campaigns
- 6-week healthy weight programme (based on our 10-week Family Programme)
- Staff training providing the knowledge, skills and practical advice to support individuals to feel more confident in how to effectively approach this topic with parents
Run by our qualified Family Weight Management Practitioners, our Holiday Clubs are a short intervention delivered during school holidays (4 or 5 days depending on Bank Holidays), for children that fit our Family Programme eligibility criteria and siblings. Each day during school holidays, from 9am to 3pm, we have healthy workshops based around physical activity games with breaks built in throughout the day to include art activities and board games with an emphasis on fun and games – it is a holiday club after all!
At the end of each day, Parents will be able to find out what their children have been learning by the daily ‘MoreLife Holiday Club – Parent Information Sheet’, which is sent electronically and can be signed (electronically) to say you have seen it. MoreLife Holiday Clubs are a fun way of learning about health and wellbeing for children.

MoreLife Early Years Programme
The MoreLife Early Years Programme offers the opportunity for early years’ settings to work towards improving the health and wellbeing for under 5s’.
Addressing obesity, through healthier nutrition and physical activity choices will help early years’ settings to provide a healthier environment for children in their care. It helps families to make positive choices and provides practical support for early year’s practitioners. Working together we will identify areas of improvement using healthy eating and/or physical activity assessments and devise an action plan to meet the individual needs of the setting and support them to achieve their goals.
