Privacy Statement & Use of Cookies

This privacy statement relates to the MoreLife Web Service ( provided by MoreLife (UK) Ltd. (the Site).

The purpose of this statement is to inform users of the Site about what information is collected about them when they visit this Site, how this information is used, any disclosure to third parties and the ways in which users' privacy is protected.

For the purpose of the Data Protection Act 1998 (the “Act”), the data controller is MoreLife (UK) Ltd.

Information We Collect From Visitors to the Site

We collect and process several kinds of information from visitors to the Site depending on the part of the Site being visited: e-mail enquiries, e-mail addresses, site usage information, information provided by you when using the Site, when registering to use the Site and, in a few cases, personal details such as your name, credit/debit card details and postal details if you order goods/publications/documents to be sent.

Uses Made Of The Information

We use information held about you in the following ways:

MoreLife (UK) Ltd takes your privacy seriously. Any information you provide will be held securely and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Your personal details are not normally disclosed to any third party. However, we may  disclose your personal details or information that we  have collected from you to a third party :
  • in order that they can provide a service you have requested.

  • to enable us to fulfil a request for information.

  • for the purposes of research but where this is the case your identity will not be disclosed.

  • to your local Primary Care Trust for the purpose of evaluating the contract success, but where this is the case your identity will not be disclosed.

  • to your GP if, as result of the information you have given to us when using the Site, we believe that your health or safety is or may be at risk.

  • to any person who has referred you to the services provided on the Site where such person requests feedback on your progress.

  • in the event that we sell or buy any business or assets, in which case we may disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets.

  • if MoreLife (UK) Ltd or substantially all of its assets are acquired by a third party, in which case personal data held by us about our customers will be one of the transferred assets.

If we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation, or in order to enforce or apply our Terms and Conditions or to protect our rights, property, or safety of  and that of our customers, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction and exchanging information in circumstances where we believe that parents, social services or medical professionals ought to be informed. Any information about you that we pass to a third party will be held securely by that party, in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998, and used only to provide the services or information you have requested.

Where We Store Your Personal Data

The data that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, secure servers inside the European Economic Area (“EEA”). It may be processed by staff operating inside the EEA who work for us or for one of our suppliers. Such staff maybe engaged in, among other things, the provision of support services. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing.  We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy.

Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of the Site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. You must not share a password with anyone.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to the Site; any transmission is at your own risk. Enquiries, Comments And Questions

If you send an enquiry by e-mail to a specific contact listed on the Site, this will be passed to the relevant department so that they can fulfil your information request.

If you sign up for a subscription e-mail service, we will hold the information you have provided for as long as you require access to the service requested. If you inform us that you wish to cancel a subscription we will remove you from our mailing list and your details will be deleted from our records.

Site usage information and Cookies
